Procurement
Networking Opportunities
In an effort to assist Hispanic entrepreneurs in the gaining of procurement
contracts, TAMACC conducts a seminar designed to generate real sales
opportunities for Hispanic businesses. Our Corporate Procurement Networking
Seminar will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008, this allows business owners to
meet with Corporate Representatives to learn how to pursue a contract.
Greater Austin
Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Off-Site Event
The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its off-site event at
the Long Center for the Performing Arts, on Thursday July 31, 2008. For ticket

Business Expo
TAMACC will feature its Annual Business Expo, showcasing over 300 exhibitors
from all industries. The Business Expo will be held August 1-2. The event will
open on Friday, August 1, with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The Expo will be FREE
to the public. There will be a cyber café, health, children, construction,
employment, international and food pavilions. There will be entertainment
throughout the day and many free giveaways!
Instructional Seminars
Listen, Learn, Share & Dream... TAMACC proudly presents its second Latina
Entrepreneur Power Summit to identify, examine and address areas of concern
and/or opportunities for Hispanic women in business. The Summit focuses on the
areas of career and professional development, work-life-balance, and provides
networking opportunities for Latina business owners and corporate Latina
professionals. This year, TAMACC will present the following seminars: “Smart
Latinas Take Risks,” “Latinas Journey to the TOP--Challenges, Obstacles and
Options,” “Latina Power and Influence--How to use it effectively,” “How to
create your network to include: Coaches, Mentors and Corporate Sponsors,” “How
to Recruit, Retain and Motivate a Multi-Generational workforce,” and “Latina
Makeover and Make Up--Looking your best everyday.”
